Achilleas Ifantidis is a graduate of the Department of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece with postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom on International Relations in the University of Kent at Canterbury. He specializes in Communication and Psychology of High-Performance Sports and is a licensed life coach and a non-formal education instructor by EOPPEP, the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance.
For a number of years, he provides services to athletes, coaches and parents, focusing on counselling, mental balance, issues of communication, team building and conflict management.
Furthermore, he’s been working for more that 15 years as a Communication Specialist.
He also works as:
- A trainer at the Hellenic National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government, teaching amongst others, seminars on Managing Work Stress, Conflict Management, Development of Administrative Skills and Leadership, Communication, Teamwork, Decision making.
- of the UEFA School for Coaches of the Hellenic Football Federation
- Scientific Associate in the field of Psychology in the Programme “Athletic Academies” powered by OPAP – leading gaming company in Greece and one of the most renowned in its industry worldwide, running seminars for the participating football Academies on Athletic Psychology and Communication between coaches, child-athletes and parents.
He is an active speaker in a number of seminars and conferences on Sport Psychology and Communication.
He is fluent in English and French.
He fulfilled his army duties as a member of the Special Team for the Psychosocial Care of the Greek Army.
He’s been active as a radio producer and a columnist in magazines and newspapers.
